Mid-Year Tax Planning Seminar

2012 is a very unusual year in the tax world.  With a number of tax increases scheduled to take effect next year, it may make sense for some people to actually accelerate taxable income into 2012 (the exact opposite of the normal deferral we look for in tax planning).  However, with a weak economy and a looming presidential election, it’s not a given that the laws will end up being what we think they will be.  Join us to learn about the scheduled changes to tax rates, capital gains, and estate taxes as well as the tax changes as a result of the recently enacted health care plan.  We’ll look at why this could be the year to convert your IRA to a Roth IRA as well as discussing some of the proposed changes that may come to pass.

It's never too early to start planning!  Refreshments will be provided.
