Edward J. Lampe, CPA - Managing Partner
Ed has over twenty-seven years of public accounting experience, concentrating primarily in the area of auditing and accounting, with special emphasis in construction accounting. He has been involved in the planning and execution of the following:
He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Ed is also very active in many construction related associations including Associated General Contractors of California (AGCC), the Surety Association of Northern California, and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Ed is treasurer for the American Subcontractors Association of California and has served on the Safety Committee of the Engineering & Utility Contractors Association (EUCA). He is a past Chairman of the PKF International Task Force for Construction.
John W. Baggett, CPA - Mid Market Group
John has been a partner of JGR since 2000. Prior to this he was a partner in the Modesto CPA firm of Ciccarelli, Withrow & Baggett and before that a manager with JGR. John has also been the co-owner and President of a retail golf operation with stores in Concord and Modesto. He was involved in all aspects of starting and running the day to day operations and eventually selling the business. This included all aspects of accounting, advertising, purchasing, inventory control, personnel and sales. Before starting and running the golf operation, John was with an international accounting firm for several years in their San Francisco and Walnut Creek offices. John’s responsibilities include:
Additionally, John has been involved in many aspects of JGR over the years including human resources, marketing and managing partner. John currently oversees the accounting and auditing portion of JGR. Volunteerism is important to John. He has coached in various youth sports organizations at various levels. He also has served on the board of directors and as a committee member of various organizations. Chris is the Tax Partner at Johnston, Gremaux & Rossi, LLP. Chris has special expertise in real estate, accounting methods such as percent of completion, cash basis, change in accounting methods, and S Corporations and has been a valuable member of JGR since he joined our firm in 1988. Chris has written numerous articles that have been published in various publications. Dan first came to JGR in September of 1997 where he started as a staff accountant and eventually worked his way up to a manager in the Mid-Market Group. Between 1997 and 1999, Dan passed all his exams with high marks and became a licensed CPA. In 2002, Dan began taking courses in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Taxation, but after much consideration, decided to assist in anchoring the firm's Accounting & Auditing practice. Dan services audit, review, and compilation needs for Corporations as well as their annual income tax reporting. Dan specializes in Manufacturing, Professional Service, and Contractors, as well as servicing the income tax needs of their respective owners. Dan also heads the firm's practice in audits of Employee Benefit Plans. The firm has developed a solid niche in auditing Defined Contribution Plans (401(k), 403(b), Profit-Sharing Plans, Safe-Harbor Match Plans, and ESOP’s. Dan is involved in the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and is in tune with constantly changing trends, pronouncements, and focus of the auditing environment. Dan oversees the in-house training of new staff members and draws on the strengths of others within the firm to develop expertise. Dan likes to spend his free time enjoying the youth of his two young daughters. In addition, time permitting, he is committed to an athletic regimen that prepares him for various 10K, half marathon, and full marathon events in CA. Dan has a passion for snow skiing and is constantly wishing for early winter snow storms to get his skiing fix before tax season engulfs his time and energy.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys outdoor activities including running, biking, and golfing. He enjoys spending time with his wife Megan and two shetland sheepdogs. Michael serves on JGR's Accounting and Auditing Committee and is member of the East Bay Chapter of the California Society of CPAs. Michael is also active in construction related associations including the Surety Association of Northern California, and the Engineering & Utility Contractors Association (EUCA). Barry Elghanayan is a Technical Manager with Johnston, Gremaux & Rossi, LLP. He is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and has a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Hofstra University. Barry Elghanayan has been with JGR since 2000, with the exception of October 2005 through October 2007. Before rejoining JGR, Barry Elghanayan worked for Grassi & Company. Barry Elghanayan has been an integral member of the Auditing and Accounting Committee at JGR, focusing on keeping the firm up to date on new pronouncements, as well as enhancing the skills of accountants at all levels. Lynn started her career at local and regional CPA firms before spending five years with KPMG in San Francisco. Lynn has been involved in the planning and execution of the following:
Lynn originally trained as a teacher and uses those skills to present in-house training and client seminars. She also helped team teach the tax course for the financial planning program at American College. Lynn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs. She is past president of Diablo Valley Estate Planning Council and served three terms on the Board of Directors of the East Bay Chapter of the California Society of CPAs. Currently, Lynn is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and the Cal CPA Personal Financial Planning Committee. In her spare time, Lynn is an avid reader and movie buff. Lynn and her husband enjoy Cal football and vintage cars.
Kerri became a tax manager at JGR in the summer of 2005. She began her career at Deloitte & Touche in Columbus, Ohio and eventually transferred to their San Francisco office, spending a total of five and a half years with that firm, before spending an additional two years at Bay Area Regional/Local CPA firms. Kerri specializes in real estate, construction, and high-net worth individuals. She has considerable experience in partnership and S-Corporation taxation. Kerri has been involved in the planning and execution of the following:
Kerri is extensively involved in the in-house tax trainings of current and new staff members and is in charge of the training of all tax season per diem hires. Kerri is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, maintaining current CPA licenses in both states. She is also a member of JGR's tax committee and the human resources committee. Kerri likes to spend her free time traveling the world with her husband and rooting for her favorite Ohio collegiate and professional sports teams.
Jen started her career at JGR the Fall of 2001. In 2007, she moved to the private sector for 3 years before returning to JGR in the Fall of 2010. Jen’s customer responsibilities include:
Jen is involved in the in-house audit and tax trainings of current and new staff members. Jen is also a member of JGR's Auditing & Accounting committee and the Technology committee. Jen likes to spend her free time traveling around the world, playing soccer, biking, and spending time outdoors.
Jane began her career at a large regional firm in San Francisco, where she met her husband. After joining JGR, Jane began to specialize in the areas of Estate, Gift, and Trust taxation. As a member of the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, Jane works together with many outside estate planning advisors (attorneys, bankers and financial planners) to work as a team in the planning and implementation of estate plans. Jane’s responsibilities at JGR include:
Jane is on the Tax Committee at JGR and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In her spare time, Jane enjoys tennis, long bike rides and spending quality time with her two wonderful grandsons.
Kay began her career in the Bay area working in marketing for Chevron. She held management positions in the business services divisions of Bank of America, Automatic Data Processing (ADP) and Ceridian Employer Services. Prior to joining JGR, Kay helped co-manage a general engineering construction business. Kay leads the day to day operations of the firm in order to provide quality service to clients. She is the leader on JGR’s Human Resource Committee and serves on the Technology Committee. Kay enjoys hiking, biking, fishing and skiing with her husband, son, and daughter.
Adel has been with JGR since 2008, returning to her career after taking time off to raise her two children. Before joining JGR, Adel held positions with an international accounting firm in San Jose and another large local CPA firm in the Bay Area. Additionally, Adel spent four years with a fortune 500 company as an internal auditor and senior financial accountant. Adel’s customer responsibilities include:
Additionally, Adel is involved in staff mentoring and training as well as reengineering projects related to JGR processes. Volunteerism is also important to Adel. She has held the Treasurer position for numerous school and sports organizations. Adel serves both on JGR’s Accounting and Audit and Human Resource Committees.
